Within our Fraternity, “Brother” is more than just a name we call each other. Brotherhood in Lambda Chi Alpha is a lifelong bond that endures beyond college, and has connected over 250,000 brothers since 1909.
The values that make a good brother are those that make a good man, and are the same values that will eventually make a good husband and father. Lambda Chi Alpha is committed to fostering personal growth and development through its traditions, principles and ideals.
In a very real sense, the Fraternity creates a family relationship among its members. It aims to bring together a group of young men who will be brothers; loyal and helpful to one another during some of the best years of their lives–the college years. Thus, Lambda Chi offers its members the closest possible equivalent to home that can be found on the college campus, and these close ties bind our men in friendships for life.
