Welcome to the homepage of the Delta Phi Zeta of Lambda Chi Alpha, a brotherhood of over 250,000 men nationwide. We are the exemplary fraternity on Southeast Missouri State University's campus. Lambda Chi Alpha was brought to Southeast in 1989 to break the mold of your traditional "frat". What has evolved is a great brotherhood that is well rounded; where men become better men. Having just celebrated our 20th year on campus, the men of Lambda Chi are creating memories that will last a lifetime.
As Lambda Chis, we strive to be the best in every aspect of our lives. From the moment you enter the chapter we respect you as an individual. As our motto states, "Every Man, a Man". That means NO HAZING, NO PLEDGES. Lambda Chi Alpha has led the fight against these acts since 1928 and here at Southeast the tradition of being a man stands strong. Our Brothers have succeeded both within the chapter and out, taking leadership roles in a variety of campus and community organizations.
The men of Lambda Chi take pride in being a selective, mid-size chapter, a characteristic that allows us to develop meaningful friendships with each of our brothers. Within our chapter, you are more than just a number. This philosophy is evident in the commitment our men have made toward achieving high standards and attaining great successes.
Lambda Chi Alpha annually holds our Watermelon Bust philanthropy (a competition between sororities with watermelons games), a campus blood drive, one of the largest canned food drives in the nation, and an annual Car Wash for Kids (the proceeds from which are donated to Big Brothers Big Sisters). In addition, we routinely participate in other community service events, host various social events (like homecoming and formals), and exhibit a strong performance in all intramural sports. The men of Lambda Chi Alpha continue their hard work inside the class room as well, accumulating chapter grade point averages each semester that are consistently higher than the All University Male grade point average, and among the highest in the Fraternal system
